Hello Jetsetters,

Just wanted to inform you about the Ringo Awards. If you've never heard about them, here's some basic information.

The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity, skill and fun of comics. The awards are in honor of one of the greatest comic book artists of ALL TIME! The nomination ballot is determined by fans and pros alike.

So if you enjoyed our tale about the sixteen year old Jupiter Jet flying the skies and punching robots in the face, then please consider nominating the book for some Ringo Awards!

This book was our love letter to all ages comics and it would be a true honor to be named the Best Kids Comic/Graphic Novel.

You can vote here until June 20th: http://ringoawards.com/

Thank you for your consideration!

PS -- We have some big updates coming soon!

AURORA & THE EAGLE #1 is now LIVE on Kickstarter!
about 5 years ago – Wed, Mar 13, 2019 at 06:18:23 PM

Hello Jetsetters,

Co-writer Ashley here to tell you about my new Kickstarter project AURORA & THE EAGLE #1:

Imagine is the Justice League and the United Nations operated at the same entity with a representative from each  country. Now imagine Canada needs a new hero and AURORA BOREALIS, with the power of the Northern Lights, get recruited by American vigilante, The Eagle to begin her training. This is the concept of Aurora & The Eagle #1 a new Kickstarter comic by Ashley Victoria Robinson (Jupiter Jet, Science!), and a deeply personal story that parallels her own journey immigrating to the United States from Canada. All proceeds from the campaign will go  to fund Ashley's immigration fees as she completes her application for American citizenship this year!

If you liked Jupiter Jet, I know you will love AURORA & THE EAGLE! www.AuroraAndTheEagle.com

Hello Awesome JUPITER JET Backers,

Since you are the first people in the world that ever supported JUPITER JET, we wanted to call on you to vote for JUPITER JET volume 1 as one of the GOODREADS BEST GRAPHIC NOVELS OF 2018!

https://www.goodreads.com/choiceawards/best-graphic-novels-comics-2018

Vote early! Vote often!
Vote early! Vote often!

How do you do it? It's easy and all you need is a GoodReads account!

1. Go to the link above
2. Sign In to GoodReads
3. Scroll all the way to bottom of the page
4. Write in "Jupiter Jet Volume One"
5. Click VOTE

If everyone who donated to the creation of our graphic novel here on Kickstarter voted then we could get into the Top Ten and that is our ultimate goal. Not only would that promote JUPITER JET in the GoodReads algorithm, but it could lead to a speedier production on Volume 2 - which is definitely something we are planning.

Nominations and Awards are an easy way to keep supporting Jacky and her story and to ensure more adventures of The Flying Girl get to be told!

Thank-you for everything you have done and thank-you for your help with this!

Cheers,

New Project!!
over 5 years ago – Wed, Sep 12, 2018 at 08:32:50 AM

Hello Outstanding JUPITER JET Backers,

I wanted to reach you to share the latest crowdfunding campaign that we are working on. We're hoping that if you liked JUPITER JET you will love SCIENCE! www.ScienceComicBook.com will that you directly to the project!

- Science! Is an 80 page middle-grade original graphic novel written by husband and wife team, Jason Inman and Ashley Victoria Robinson. (You may have also seen them on Collider Heroes and DC All Access.) This is their second co-created comic after their debut creator-owned series Jupiter Jet, published in 2017 by Action Lab Comics. This graphic novel will feature art by illustrator Dez Pittman, colour art by Gehenna: Death Valley creator Becka Kinzie, and letters by Ghost Glyph Studio’s Taylor Esposito, edited by Hope Nicholson (Angel Catbird, Moonshot.)

Science! is the story of Tamsin Kuhn Trakroo. Tamsin has just started studying at The Prometheus Institute which is only the world's most famous and prestigious science school and her crazy science adventures are just beginning. Will Tamsin let the pretty girl she has a crush on push the boundaries of astrophysics too far? Probably. Will she try to stop the man who her father says killed him? Maybe. In the ultimate school of science it’s not your friends, your teachers, or your family that you can trust. You can only trust in SCIENCE! And it’s time for Tamsin Trakroo to grow up. The main reward is a physical copy of the 80-page graphic novel. Higher reward levels include Skype calls with the creators, script reviews by big league comic creators like Tom King, Cullen Bunn and Shea Fontana, and a lunch with Marvel Runaways actor Ryan Sands! Also, there are flying robots in the book and who doesn’t love that? Check out the project at www.sciencecomicbook.com
